GAINESVILLE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Raytheon Company and the University of Florida Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering have joined in a cooperative program, the Integrated Product and Process Design (IPPD) two-semester course for UF engineering students, to develop new software, learn more about secure coding practices and better understand systems engineering. Raytheon Company, a global technology and innovation leader specializing in defense, civil government and cybersecurity solutions, has been accepted into the University of Florida’s business incubation system as a resident client of UF Innovate | The Hub.


The IPPD program is supported by Raytheon’s Intelligence, Information and Services business located in Largo, Florida. The IPPD course is an opportunity for top UF engineering students and faculty to develop their knowledge and skills in an actual environment for administrative and operational mission planning.
